I am an English instructor and American Sign Language Interpreter with 15+ years of combined experience in K-12 and higher education. I will be completing my Master's Degree in English in May 2021. Currently, I am a Graduate Teaching Fellow working with college freshmen.

I prefer the student-centered approach to teaching. I instruct students with examples so they can have a clear understanding of what they are expected to do. Then, I provide them time to practice what I have shown and we conclude a lesson with time for open discussion either in the full class or in groups.
