About Grace

I am a first-year master's student at Boston College pursuing a degree in social work. I recently completed the rigorous graduate application process, applying to a total of 7 schools, with acceptances to 6 programs. I graduated summa cum laude from Elon University with a 3.98 GPA, and experience in writing research briefs, grant proposals, and introspective essays. Additionally, I was appointed as the university's first student commencement speaker, in which my speech was selected by an established committee of university administrators, professors, and peers.

Throughout my undergraduate career, I had multiple roles as a Peer Educator, while also balancing jobs as a volunteer coordinator and campus tour guide. Additionally, I have held internship and volunteer roles that have allowed me to aid adults in professional and personal development. These versatile positions have provided me with interview and work experience, while building my skills to interact with and support individuals and communities.

About the lesson

I am looking to assist high school and college students who need guidance in their undergraduate/graduate application process. Colleges are looking to comprehensively evaluate students and I wish to help individuals develop their strongest application. I'd be happy to assist in multiple phases of the process, whether that be resume building, interview practice, editing or brainstorming a personal statement, etc. Once hired, you can feel free to send me any application materials you’d like me to review, and we can meet virtually to discuss any suggestions I may have or to address any questions!

Additionally, I have experience helping individuals build their resumes, as well as extensive interview practice, so I’d be happy to assist any high school or college student, and/or adult who is looking for guidance in the job application process. If hired, we can meet virtually for mock interviews, and resume suggestions.
