About Mark
I'm a graduate of Spalding University with a Masters of Fine Arts in Writing, a graduate of United Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity, and a current doctoral student at United Theological Seminary working on Church Revitalization and trauma-sensitive ways to minister to the LGBTQIA+ population and other populations harmed by the Church. When I'm not actively pastoring an online open and affirming church, I am working on my doctorate or personal writing projects.
I've previously taught college preparatory courses, ran a local writers' guild, and worked individually with many writers to bring their goals of publication into reality. I'm excited to work with you to help you fulfill you goals, whatever they may be.

I know that everybody learns differently. Our lessons will be based on how you learn best and based upon your goals. My only goal here is for you to become more confident and capable in whatever areas you come to me for help.
I am a big believer in learning by doing, so often our lessons will take the form of working on whatever the intended subject is, improving both through practice as well as guidance from me as to where you can improve. The hardest part of learning anything is the discipline to keep trying even when it's hard, so I'm big on encouragement paired with opportunities for growth.
