About Elena

In July 2020 I obtained the master degree in philosophical sciences, with a thesis in aesthetics and philosophy of art starting from Wittgenstein.
In 2017 I obtained my bachelor degree, with a thesis on the relationship between Kantian philosophy and quantum physics. The passion for physics (and its intertwining with philosophy) comes from the PNI scientific high school that I attended.
I have studied in particular epistemology and philosophy of science, Kantian and generally modern philosophy, analytical philosophy, Wittgenstein and Husserl.

I have a long experience in offering private classes. I started helping with homework students from primary and middle school, I then passed helping younger students during high school, in various subjects. Recently I helped both high school and university (BA) students preparing for exams in philosophy.

About the lesson

My methodology adapts to the student and the study needs, different in the case of high school or university. In the first case, I focus on the notes and knowledge required for the verification tests, trying in any case to make the contents understood from the "inside" and to have them reworked independently, without limiting oneself to a mnemonic study. In the second case it will be evaluated together, but in any case the accent will be placed on the acquisition of a solid method of independent study, on the contextualization of the authors in the history of philosophy as a whole, on the clarification of the most difficult points of the monographic texts.
In both cases, if necessary we will recurr to schematizations and "homework" ( e.g. in the form of open questions to be reviewed during the next lesson).
