About Frida
My name is Frida, a first class graduate in sociology and a recent Masters graduate.
I have a particular passion for social sciences having studied sociology for my undergraduate degree, and later studying Gender for a Masters. However, my experience within these subjects is large and includes the study of literature, psychology and research methods.
As such, I want to pursue a career in academia, teaching at university level and producing my own research.
My teaching style involves a collaborative approach emphasisng what the student wants to learn and focussing on topics that they are struggling with. In addition to this, I believe that improvement comes from trial and error, encouraging students to complete practice exams, essay questions and exercises that will be reviewed during the tutoring sessions.
I am addaptive, having had experience being an assistant teacher for a range of abilities during sixth form and my undergraduate degree, and will cater the lessons to the need of the student.
