About Dylen
I’m a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, where I earned a 3.7 GPA. Throughout my education, I built a strong foundation in math, including algebra, trigonometry, and calculus, and learned how to apply these concepts in real-world scenarios.
I’ve always been someone who enjoys breaking down complex problems and helping others understand them in a simple, straightforward way. I’m patient, reliable, and easy to work with, and I take pride in creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions.
Outside of tutoring, I work in construction, where I regularly use math for planning, measurements, and problem-solving. This real-world experience allows me to bring practical examples into lessons and show how math is actually used beyond the classroom.
I’m passionate about helping students improve, build confidence, and reach their academic goals.

I focus on making math clear, practical, and easy to understand—no matter your starting point. With a background in Construction Management from the University of Washington (3.7 GPA), I’ve spent years applying math in real-world situations, which helps me explain concepts in a way that actually makes sense beyond the textbook.
My lessons are tailored to each student. Whether you’re working through algebra, trigonometry, or calculus, I break problems down step-by-step and make sure you understand the “why,” not just the answer.
