About Nina

I have been tutoring for the past 3 years, these students were either on my course, I hosted tuition sessions as part of my role of the Biomedical Sciences Society President, I have also tutored Masters and PhD international students with their academic English and I currently tutor 2 A-Level Biology students with tutoring agencies - Tutor Doctor Barnet and UpReach in the Community.

My previous students obtained excellent grades with me, a lot of my GCSE students obtained As and above in their sciences, and my A-Level students have obtained grades A and above also due to the thorough exam practise topics they have with me.

About the lesson

Hello, I am a Biomedical Sciences graduate, I graduated with a 2:1, with a first in my dissertation. I will also be studying a Masters this September. I tutor GCSE and A-Level students in Biology and Chemistry and Physics up to GCSE. However, I can also teach adult students with these subjects and academic English.

The way I like to teach is, to begin with learning the theory as quickly and efficiently as possible then spending the remaining time to do practise questions. I believe doing practise questions is the quickest way to consolidate topics that you have learned. A lot of of the GCSE and A-Level exam questions expect students to not only have a firm knowledge of the topics but to be able to apply their knowledge to application questions in the exam.

As a tutor, I like to cater my sessions to my students as best as possible, so I will always ask what areas you want to work on. I will also regularly ask for feedback to make sure we are both happy with your progress.

Details

For GCSE and A-Level tuition sessions, my rate is £24 an hour.

If you would like both Chemistry and Biology sessions, I have a discounted rate of £22 an hour depending on the hours.

My online sessions are £22 an hour.

If you find that my rates are out of your budget, please still contact me as depending on the circumstance I am happy to be flexible.
