As a tutor, my approach revolves around creating an engaging and interactive learning environment tailored to the individual needs of each student. My techniques and teaching methodology are rooted in fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts while simultaneously nurturing a passion for the subject.

I begin by assessing the student's current level of understanding and identifying any areas of difficulty or gaps in knowledge. This allows me to tailor my approach to meet their specific needs, whether it involves reinforcing fundamental concepts or tackling more complex topics.

During lessons, I employ a variety of teaching strategies, including visual aids, real-life examples, and interactive exercises, to cater to different learning styles and ensure maximum comprehension. I encourage active participation and critical thinking, fostering an atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring mathematical concepts independently.

Each lesson typically lasts for one hour, during which time I cover key concepts, provide explanations, and engage students in hands-on activities and problem-solving tasks. In terms of qualifications and experience, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and have been actively tutoring for the past two years. Additionally, I am currently pursuing my PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), with completion expected in July. My experience as a tutor, combined with my academic background and ongoing professional development, has equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively support students ranging from ages 11 to 18.
