About Dillon
I am happy to change my methods to fit a student's needs. Lessons will be as interactive as possible. I do not want to lecture, I want to have a guided discussion about math. After a tutoring session, my goal is for you to feel confident that you are closer to understanding the material than before the lesson.

I like to use the Socratic method when teaching students. I will ask students progressively challenging questions to help them get to the correct answer. It is always better for the student to be guided towards the answer instead of giving them the answer outright. When done correctly, the student should start asking themselves Socratic-styled questions and find answers on their own.
I have tutored from Pre-K to Junior year high school. I am also comfortable tutoring first and second-year college math, and electrical engineering.
