About Celine
I’m a Journalism graduate from the University of Portsmouth with a passion for language, communication, and helping others find confidence in their own voice.
Throughout my studies, I developed a strong understanding of how powerful clear communication can be — whether through writing, conversation, or storytelling. I love helping people express their ideas and feel more confident using English, which is what inspired me to start tutoring.
As a neurodivergent person myself, I understand that everyone processes information and learns in different ways. I believe there is no “one size fits all” approach to education, and I enjoy finding creative, supportive ways to help students overcome challenges and recognise their own strengths.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy seeing people progress — whether that’s a student finally understanding a difficult concept, feeling more comfortable speaking English, or developing confidence in their own abilities. My aim is to create a welcoming and encouraging space where students feel valued, supported, and excited to learn.
I bring a friendly, patient approach to every lesson and I’m passionate about helping students achieve their goals while making learning an enjoyable experience.

I offer friendly, supportive English lessons designed around each student’s individual goals, learning style, and confidence level. Whether you want to improve your everyday conversation, grammar, pronunciation, writing skills, academic English, or simply feel more comfortable using English, I create lessons that are practical, engaging, and tailored to you.
I am a Journalism graduate from the University of Portsmouth, with a strong background in English language, communication, research, and writing. My degree has developed my ability to explain ideas clearly, adapt my communication style for different audiences, and help others express themselves with confidence. I can also support students with essay writing, proofreading, academic skills, and improving the structure and clarity of their written work.
As a neurodivergent tutor, I understand that traditional learning methods do not work for everyone. I take a patient, flexible approach and recognise the importance of adapting lessons to suit different learning styles. I have a particular understanding of supporting neurodiverse learners and students with SEN, creating a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence.
My lessons focus on developing real-world communication skills through conversation practice, personalised activities, and constructive feedback. I believe learning is most effective when students feel understood, supported, and motivated.
