About Sophia
Hi! I'm Sophie, and I'm passionate about helping students unlock their potential in Math and Science. I've been tutoring for 3 years, working with both elementary and middle school students. I have a Bachelor's degree in Forensic science and a strong background in Algebra and Geometry.
My teaching style is all about making learning engaging and effective. I tailor lessons to each student's needs, using a mix of explanations, practice problems, and interactive activities. I'm a patient and encouraging tutor who believes everyone can succeed with the right support.
In one instance, I helped a student who struggled with reading comprehension go from a C- to a B+ in just a semester! Seeing their confidence grow and their passion for reading ignite was incredibly rewarding.
Tutoring allows me to share my love of learning and empower students to reach their academic goals. Outside of tutoring, I'm an avid rock climber - always up for a challenge!
