About Laura

My name is Laura Hunter, and I have a Graphic Arts in Multimedia Associate’s Degree from Southwest Community College and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and English, with an emphasis in Creative Writing from the University of Memphis. During high school, I taught myself Photoshop and video editing. I have over a decade of experience making photo manipulations, and I used to make fan videos for books and TV shows and have a YouTube Channel. I was hired for a local news network where I taught myself Adobe Premiere Pro. I also began to write stories for the air and our website. Throughout my life, from childhood until now, I’ve had the opportunity to pursue acting. I would love to help you become the best actor/actress you can be. As someone who self-taught themselves how to use programs and went through formal training, I’m in a unique position to help you learn programs and help develop your ability to graphic design.

About the lesson

I’m all about hands-on learning. I take my students through the process step by step on how to accomplish each task and then give them time to work on it themselves. During the tutoring session, I’ll be there to help them and they can contact me if they have any questions outside of the tutoring session. Before our first lesson, we’ll discuss what goals you have and how to bring them to life. I’ll arrange different lessons and ways to test your growing knowledge and experience. I teach: * Acting * Acting for Screen * Acting for Stage * Musical Theatre * Stage Presence * Playwright
