Breaking difficult concepts into relatable everyday scenarios allowing a student to find the subject of Maths understandable. Encourage students to explain their own approach to dealing with concepts and topics. Each lesson should be a minimum of an hour (40 minutes of background cover, 10 mins of testing student's understanding and last 10 minutes on questions arising from the lesson). I have helped a few students to date but haven't done a lot of teaching as I would have wanted. Lessons are for Foundation or higher GCSE Maths candidates.
