About Sean
I am originally from China and currently work in London. Through my experience training master's and undergraduate interns, I’ve noticed that many students entering the lab lack systematic training, particularly in academic writing. Additionally, I have taught GCSE and IB students and observed that their learning methods often have room for improvement. I have successfully helped these students achieve significant academic progress. With this background, I aim to share my teaching methods and experiences on this platform to assist more students while also alleviating some of my own financial pressures.

I hold a PhD from the UK, which has enabled me to achieve near-native proficiency in English speaking and academic writing. My teaching style focuses on simplifying complex scientific concepts by drawing analogies to everyday life, making them easier for students to understand and remember. As a practical educator, I prefer to concretise scientific concepts rather than relying on rote memorisation. I am capable of teaching in both Chinese and English.
