About Divya

With a strong academic background and passion for tutoring and biology, I will provide a welcoming, positive, adaptable, and goal-oriented approach to lessons. Maintaining a high academic standard throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have built disciplined study strategies that I will actively teach my students. I value clarity, patience, and professionalism in every interaction.
My approach will focus on building my students' confidence, problem-solving skills, and understanding of the subject matter. My lessons will break down complex topics into manageable concepts, emphasize high-yield study techniques, and create organized study plans that keep students accountable and motivated.
Students and their families can expect reliable, clear communication and a supportive, learning community that's always open for questions. I want to help my students feel confident and capable, while building their enjoyment of the subject.

About the lesson

I endeavor to work with students to address concerns and set overall goals to set them up for success. I break my lessons down into key objectives and create an interactive learning plan that fits each individual student's learning style . I am always enthusiastic about the subject material and am always open for questions or concerns. I can tailor lessons to various levels including Middle and High School students (including AP Biology) as well as College Introductory Biology and Microbiology courses.
