About Suleman

Hi, I'm Suleman, a 24-year-old passionate about teaching and helping students excel. While completing my Master’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Manchester, I gained valuable experience tutoring part-time, guiding students towards their academic goals. My professional role as a Senior Engineering Consultant has further enhanced my ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver them effectively. Outside of teaching, I enjoy chess (having competed nationally as a child), table tennis, hitting the gym, and exploring new languages.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps, using practical examples to enhance understanding. I aim to teach not just the material but also a way of learning, helping students develop engineering intuition to rethink problem-solving approaches. I create a supportive learning environment, tailoring lessons to each student’s unique needs and learning style. Typical lessons last around 60 minutes, balancing focused instruction with opportunities for questions and practice. My goal is to empower students with the skills to tackle challenges independently, building both their confidence and a deeper understanding of maths and physics concepts.
