About Karina
**About Me**
Hello! I’m Karina, a proud graduate from the University of Colorado with a degree in Visual Arts and a minor in Art History. Art has always been my passion, and I find immense joy in sharing this passion with others.
One of my favorite activities is being outdoors, where I draw inspiration from the natural world. I especially love doing outdoor paintings, capturing the beauty of landscapes and the subtle nuances of light and color in nature. This outdoor practice deeply influences my teaching style, as I encourage my students to explore and draw inspiration from their surroundings.
My academic background and extensive skills in visual arts and art history provide a solid foundation for my teaching. I bring a well-rounded approach to each lesson, combining practical techniques with a deep understanding of art's historical context. This holistic perspective enhances my students' art practices, helping them create works that are not only technically proficient but also rich in meaning and expression.
