I performed well in my academics in college and I received great reviews from the students I helped instruct during my time as an undergraduate teaching assistant. I am very friendly, personable, and compassionate. During my time as a TA, I learned that all students are extremely capable of learning material, even if they think they aren’t as good at a subject. I spent my senior year of college as an undergraduate teaching assistant for an introductory atmospheric science course. This course focused on basic atmospheric science concepts that are closely tied to physics, math, and some chemistry. I led 3 recitation style classes weekly, as well as held office hours. I was able to make my own lesson plans, as well as adapt to the needs of students in office hours.
