About Dennis
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from NC State University. I am an A/B student going through High School and College. I have been personally studying various fields for a significant amount of time now and will continue to do so. This has expanded my comprehensive knowledge and has allowed me to tackle many academic subjects with confidence. I believe learning the fundamentals of any subject is key to moving forward in that field. I also believe that students should know why the information they are learning is important. Education allows one to enhance their view of the world, and see it in new and creative ways. I want to try my best to help each student in their current situation and help them have an appreciation for their education.

I am willing to adapt to the student. This includes visual learning, verbally explaining concepts, providing examples, slowing down, speeding up, etc. I emphasize the process over the answer. It is important for students to learn and understand the material rather than just wanting to know the answer as fast as possible. I am willing to go through booklets, homework, previous tests and quizzes, videos, and more. I want the students and parents of the students to feel that they are getting their specific needs met. I am willing to tutor for Elementary to High School Students.
