About Ben
Hi, I'm Ben, a Bachelor of Commerce and Advanced Studies student at the University of Sydney with a passion for helping students succeed. I currently tutor Mathematics, Economics and English, and enjoy making challenging concepts easy to understand. My goal is to build students' confidence while helping them achieve strong academic results. Outside of tutoring, I work at PwC, play AFL for Sydney University and have extensive leadership experience through school and university, giving me strong communication skills and a patient, approachable teaching style.

Teaching Approach
I tailor each lesson to the individual student, focusing on building confidence and a genuine understanding of concepts rather than memorization. I explain ideas clearly, work through examples together and reinforce learning with exam-style questions.
Lesson Structure
Lessons are typically 60–90 minutes. We begin by reviewing previous work, cover any new or difficult topics, complete guided practice, and finish with independent questions and goals for the following week.
Qualifications & Experience
I am studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Advanced Studies at the University of Sydney. I currently tutor Economics, Mathematics Advanced and English Advanced, helping students improve their understanding, organization and exam preparation.
