My Teaching Philosophy
I believe that education should never happen in a vacuum. Whether we are tackling elementary math, diving into high school literature, or exploring complex financial concepts, my goal is to show you why it matters. I don't just help students memorize facts to pass a test; I build customized, dynamic lesson plans that connect academic subjects to real-world applications, personal growth, and future career success.

Because of my diverse professional background, I offer highly tailored tutoring across several distinct disciplines:
K-12 Academic Support: As an active educator and substitute teacher, I work intimately with students across all grades (K-12). I provide targeted support in core subjects, homework help, and study skill development.
Business, Finance & Investment: With a degree in Business Finance and four years of hands-on corporate experience as a portfolio administrator in investment management, I offer advanced tutoring in financial literacy, real estate fundamentals, and private equity principles.
Music & Creative Production: For students looking to tap into their creative side, I offer lessons in drums, piano, and modern music production/songwriting.
Physical Education & Endurance Training: As a dedicated marathoner and founder of a local run club, I can also coach students on discipline, bodyweight exercise routines, and long-distance training blocks.
My Background & Experience
My approach to teaching is grounded in a wide range of real-world experiences. I spent the early part of my career in the high-level investment management industry before transitioning my focus toward education, community development, and youth leadership.
Outside of the traditional classroom, I am deeply involved in community organizing, from building local mentorship programs to running neighborhood resource events. This background in community leadership means I approach every tutoring session with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to see my students thrive.
