About Jasen
Over the last ten years I've worked in different roles as a college academic advisor, high school advisor, and executive function/ADHD coach, all while tutoring students in various subjects that I'm passionate about. I've worked with students aged 10 to 65, and I customize my lesson plans to meet each of their individual needs, and to support their academic journey. The most important thing you should know about me, is that I'm extremely patient and understanding, and I help my students to overcome their anxieties about school, whether it's math anxiety, test anxiety, or related to whichever subject we're working on. I believe that together, we can overcome anything. I'm easygoing, relaxed, and will help you find the learning style that works best for you.

I like to create lessons that provide my students with numerous examples and diverse problems to encourage a strong and thorough understanding of the subject, while also making the material fun, engaging, relevant, and rewarding.
The best learning is when a student is engaged, and that can be different for everyone. I utilize a wide range of tools, games, and techniques to keep students engaged and interested, and to foster a natural interest in learning.
My lessons are geared towards highschool students, and college students.
