About Sarah
I am a recent BioHealth science graduate from OSU with honors and a minor in Health Management and Policy. My major heavily focuses on the subjects I teach including many forms of hard science, math, writing. I wrote and defended my thesis on the Biocuration of Oryza sativa transcription factors involved in abiotic stress response which is another example of how prevalent writing and science was throughout my college career.

I provide lessons for high schoolers who are looking to get ahead academically or are looking for college prep (calc 1 &2 ). A typical plan would last an hour and would be composed of reviewing a practice problem or two that I had assigned the previous session before introducing a new topic and moving on. I like to explain concepts using visuals so with any new topic I teach, I like to use an example problem followed with questions to see if the student understood or needs further clarification.
