About Lalan
"My teaching approach is concept-driven and highly interactive. I begin with the fundamentals, ensuring students understand the 'why' behind each concept before introducing advanced topics. I use practical examples, real-world case studies, live coding sessions, and problem-solving exercises to bridge theory and application. A typical class starts with a brief review of the previous lesson, followed by new concepts, demonstrations, guided practice, and concludes with discussion, questions, and assignments. My greatest strength as a teacher is my ability to combine 18 years of experience in software engineering and quantitative finance with strong academic credentials, enabling me to relate classroom concepts to real industry scenarios. I primarily teach engineering and finance students, working professionals, and interview candidates, while also teaching mathematics to school students."
