About Kayley

Hi! I'm a Biology graduate with a strong background in the sciences and several years of experience tutoring and mentoring students. I've worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant, medical assistant, and research leader, giving me both academic expertise and real-world experience. I enjoy breaking down challenging concepts into simple, understandable steps and tailoring my teaching style to each student's learning needs. Whether you're preparing for an exam, improving your grades, or building confidence in science, I'm committed to creating a supportive and encouraging environment where you can succeed. I offer help in a wide variety of subjects in the sciences so I am eager to help!

About the lesson

A typical lesson will consist of getting to know you and understanding your learning styles. I like to break down complex topics and do LOTS of practice. What makes me different is once you feel confident, I want to see if you are able to teach me the content. That is what really helps you understand how well you know the material. I like to also give recommendations of videos and additional practice problems to do outside our sessions.
