I like to start lessons with skill review or ice breaking activity which allows a student to feel comfortable in their abilities and engagement. Then I will move into a period of direct instruction with guided practice using Socratic questioning techniques. After this, I want to see how the student works individually before reviewing content together. Ultimately, I will gear my strategies toward the strengths of the individual student. It is my job to understand how someone learns best and then working from there
I will be focusing on all subjects from the K-12 level. I am a credentialed multi subject teacher meaning I can teach anything from science to math to history and everything in between
