As a tutor, my approach is focused on building real understanding rather than memorization.
My teaching method is based on breaking down complex ideas into their core components, then rebuilding them step by step. I prioritize active engagement: the student attempts problems early, I identify gaps in reasoning, and we correct those gaps through guided explanation. I avoid over-explaining upfront and instead adjust based on where confusion actually appears. Repetition is used only when necessary and always with variation so the concept is reinforced, not mechanically repeated.
What sets me apart is an emphasis on clarity and durable understanding. The goal is to reduce dependence on step-by-step help over time by building internal structure and confidence.
These lessons are designed for high school and college-level students, particularly those in STEM fields, including biology, chemistry, and introductory math or statistics. It is also suited for pre-med students preparing for exams like the MCAT who need conceptual clarity and disciplined problem-solving practice.
