I have a long history of private tutoring, both 1:1 and in small groups. I was a peer tutor throughout high school and college, and then I later went on to teach privately after graduation. I've taught omusic lessons, art lessons, history, English, French, German, and Environmental Science.

I love learning, reading, writing and I can take these otherwise complex skills and topics, and make them fun for students of all ages.
I have also worked specifically with students who have learning disabilities (specifically ADD, ADHD, and Dyslexia). I have also worked with early readers for many years (ages 4+) with a particular focus on spelling, phonics, and grammar to build foundational skills.
I specialize in essay writing for college prep and University level projects and papers. This includes other forms of academic writing as well, such as public speaking projects or writing for presentations.
I am also happy to work with middle-grade students. One of my main focuses for 5th-9th graders is study skills and preparation (e.g. how to make an outline, how to annotate text, close reading, and test prep).
