About Kenzie

I'm a friendly, personable, patient, and kind person who seeks the growth and benefit of others. I live in NC with my husband and am currently working on my Master's of Science in Nutrition to become a Registered Dietitian. I currently work as a nanny for two kids who I have also tutored in Spanish. I spent my first year out of college working as an ESL teacher at an elementary school in NC. I love teaching and helping others however I can!

About the lesson

In my lessons, I will meet you where you are at, helping you with specific areas of Spanish that you want to grow in. Lessons will be hands-on and active so that you have the chance to be immersed in the language, which is the best way of learning. I incorporate current music, TV, movies, and news into conversations so that you learn how to speak Spanish in a beneficial and relevant way. Lessons are fun and you will come out on the other side with a new love and passion for Spanish, as well as helpful ways of remembering difficult grammar and vocabulary. Lessons are for kids, teenagers, and adults who are open and excited to learn Spanish. I specialize in areas such as vocabulary, verb tenses (preterite, all subjunctive, imperfect, future, imperative, gerunds, past participles, etc.), as well as oral, reading, and written comprehension.
