About Kasey

Bonjour ! I’m Kasey, a French major graduate from SUNY New Paltz with a BA in French and a member of Pi Delta Phi, the National French Honor Society. I studied abroad in Besançon, France at an international language school where I fully immersed myself in the French language, and la vie à la française. I’ve been passionate about French for as long as I can remember, and I love helping others build confidence in their language skills. I know how overwhelming French can feel at times (trust me, I’ve been there!), which is why I focus on patience, clarity, and real-world connection in every lesson

About the lesson

My approach as a tutor: I believe learning French should feel empowering, not intimidating. My style is patient, visual, and interactive. I always move at your pace, and we go over everything together so it actually clicks. Here’s what you can expect: Visual & collaborative lessons, Step-by-step breakdowns of tricky grammar, Real-life examples, media, and convo practice. I hope to provide a warm and supportive space to build confidence. I tutor all levels, from elementary school to university and adult learners. Whether you're a student needing help with homework or AP French, In college looking to strengthen grammar, writing, or speaking, an adult learner prepping for a trip, or just brushing up on your skills, I’ll tailor each lesson to your goals, pace, and learning style. Whether you’re starting from scratch or just need extra support, I’ve got you!
