About Jessica

Bonjour! My name is Jessica and I am an experienced teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Languages. I have been giving Junior and Leaving Cert grinds for three years and have been working as an English teacher in Spain for two. I lived in France for a year and often return to visit friends and family there, so I have regular contact with the language which allows me to best help my students. Having studied languages myself, I understand the importance of fun and engaging lessons that allow students to gain confidence in their own abilities. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and love seeing my students succeed!

About the lesson

My lessons are student-centred and tailored to meet your specific needs and objectives. The content of the lessons can be, amongst others: - Improving your pronunciation and becoming more confident for the oral exam - Practicing oral exam questions in a mock-exam setting - Improving your understanding of French grammar on the Junior/Leaving Cert syllabus (for example, the subjunctive) - Writing and correcting opinion pieces for the written exam - Anything else you would like to focus on!
