About David
I'm a graduate of Food Science and Technology and currently a masters student in Food Biotechnology. I've always loved teaching and helping students learn better and understand their world through scientific knowledge. I started teaching immediately after my secondary school education in a missionary primary school where I taught the pupils sciences. Since then I've taught in two different secondary schools, and I've organized lessons and tutorials at various levels.
I love teaching not just for the sake of knowledge alone, but also for the sake of applying that knowledge.
I'm fond of making jokes especially during classes and I'm an ardent football fan.

My personal approach to tutoring starts with evaluating the previous knowledge a student must have or should have for the intended topic in a particular course or subject as that would determine what approach to take. This approach involves whether I as a tutor should go back and give the student a foundational understanding of the topic of interest or carry on with the new topic.
From there we can start with understanding the terms, functions and processes involved in the topics. I am also a proponent of real life applications of whatever topic of interest we're trying to unravel in order to make the study much relatable for the students.
