About Louise
I have had a passion for reading and writing since a young age, choosing to develop this passion at a professional level. I have a particular interest in the fantasy genre of creative writing, however, I am experienced in writing, marking, and editing all forms of writing. I am currently in the second year of my PhD where I am studying advanced creative writing and literary onomastics (the study of names and their meanings), so this will ensure depth and quality in our lessons. I have a very open-minded approach with the focus that most forms of creative writing can be subjective, this will allow your creativity to bloom and flourish in your own style without compromising the basic foundations.

I will use a bespoke approach, getting a feel for how you work as a writer and develop a plan based on this. In addition to my qualifications, I have experience teaching English Language at undergraduate level, and marking assignments for creative writing and academic essays. As a result, I am able to work with a variety of methods, styles, and approaches. Lessons will be 60 minutes in length and suitable for further education and higher education levels.
