About Pierre

I have been a private science teacher for more than 5 years.
A graduate engineer, after three years at the School of Arts and Crafts, I am currently continuing my studies at ESSEC Business School. It was during my studies that I started to give private lessons and that I was able to accompany a dozen students of all levels (college, high school, preparation for preparatory classes, university).
Motivated, open witty and attentive, I feel completely competent and ready to help and accompany you.

o) Driving license and ability to travel around Paris for lessons longer than 2 hours
o) Price: 20 euros/hour for college students // 25 euros/hour for high school students // 30-35 euros/hour for higher education

About the lesson

Presentation -
I help for all types of needs and objectives in the scientific fields (mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering sciences, computer science) or to provide work advice or support.
My courses are aimed at all students who are motivated and eager to learn more, whether for those who aim to improve or for those who encounter more general concerns in their studies.

My method -
The lessons take place as follows:
o) Lesson review: From the start, the students give me feedback on their lessons and what they understood or not. I often ask students to explain the course to me in their own words to understand what has or has not been assimilated. We then resume the whole of the lesson with the help of simple examples and other media (videos, textbooks, etc.)
o) Training: In order to consolidate and apply what has just been seen, we then move on to exercises (with increasing difficulty) first of all with the course in support and accompanied then without support as we go along.
o) End of lesson: The end of the session allows us to come back to points that are still unclear or to deepen certain notions.
From experience, understanding the lesson is a fundamental aspect: Once the student understands and retains his lesson by himself, the progress is colossal and the student regains self-confidence, which allows him to succeed exercises and exams.

This method is of course adaptive and can be modified according to the requests and needs of the student and his parents. The exchange and the human are essential parts of my method for long-term understanding and success. I am available at all times for my students and to communicate with them and their parents.
