Experienced Elementary Educator | 10+ Years of Teaching Experience

Hello! I’m a qualified Elementary Educator with over 10 years of experience teaching Kindergarten to Grade 2 as a homeroom teacher.

I believe learning should be fun, engaging, inclusive and meaningful. My lessons use play-based activities, storytelling, open-ended questions, and interactive learning to help children of all abilities develop their academic skills, imagination, confidence, and critical-thinking abilities.

Every child learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to their individual needs, interests, and pace. My goal is to create a safe and encouraging space where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and discovering new ideas.

I believe young children learn best when they are actively engaged, curious, and having fun in a warm environment. With a degree in Elementary Education and over 10 years of experience as a homeroom teacher, I create a supportive learning environment where children feel confident to explore, ask questions, and express their ideas.

My lessons are designed around play-based and child-centered learning. I use storytelling, games, interactive activities, open-ended questions, and hands-on experiences to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. Rather than simply giving children the answers, I encourage them to think, explore different possibilities, and find solutions independently. This helps develop their imagination, communication skills, confidence, and critical-thinking abilities.

Lessons are typically 30–45 minutes, depending on the child's age, attention span, and individual learning needs. I keep activities varied and engaging, with opportunities for movement, discussion, and hands-on learning.

I am a Graduate in Elementary Education with 10 years of experience as a homeroom teacher, teaching children from Kindergarten through Grade 2. Over the years, I have worked with young learners with different personalities, learning styles, and abilities, adapting my approach to help each child progress at their own pace.

My lessons are primarily designed for Kindergarten to Grade 2 students (approximately ages 4–8). I can support children with foundational literacy, early numeracy, reading, writing, vocabulary, comprehension, and general academic skills, while also helping them develop confidence, curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking.

My goal is not only to help children learn, but to help them enjoy learning and become confident, curious thinkers.
