I am a recent graduate of UC Davis, earning my degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Sociology. I am also currently attending UCSF/SF State's Doctor of Physical Therapy program in my pursuit to becoming a healthcare professional. In my 5 years of tutoring experience, I've learned that the best way to engage with students is to help them lead their own educational journey. Biology and chemistry are primarily concepts, and learning these topics is not as easy as just memorizing. By providing numerous practice problems and using gauging and engaging questions during sessions, I have had great success with getting students to learn the material more deeply.
While I have the most experience with high school and college level students, I am comfortable with helping folks of all ages realize their potential!

Kathy is super patient with people. She does not judge or expect you to remember certain topics. I have known Kathy through UC Davis AATC (the tutoring center at UC Davis) in my undergrad. I have seen her in action, working with multiple people at a time for chem midterms and finals.
