About Marvelous Ace
I am currently a 1st Grade Teacher in one of the Public Schools in North Carolina. Prior to this, I had the opportunity to work as a Kindergarten Teacher, as well as teaching 2nd and 3rd Grade. With my diverse teaching experience, I have also had the chance to teach kids, teens, and adults. Given my previous exposure to online teaching, I am eager to extend my teaching expertise to the online platform and continue making a positive impact on students' lives.
Here's more about me:
1. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education in the Philippines. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Early Childhood Study and Development.
2. I have one year of online teaching experience, during which I taught students ranging from preschoolers to high schoolers and even adults. As an English teacher, I covered a variety of lessons tailored to the diverse needs of my students.
3. My favorite subject to tutor is reading, but I am also proficient in tutoring other subjects, including math, social studies, science, and more.
4. I aspire to teach reading and math, specifically at the elementary level.
5. My teaching philosophy is that "students learn best when they are actively involved and engaged in the teaching and learning process." I believe that "students invest their hearts in learning when a facilitator or teacher adapts to their individual pace."
6. One of my interests too is to listen to every child's thoughts and allowing them to share their own experiences.
7. I love teaching children and inspiring them to develop a love for learning
