About Ana

I find immense fulfillment in working with and supporting others in their journey to self-development. Much of this comes from being an older sister and is also why I have a natural nurturing approach to mentoring others. My core values include creativity, compassion, communication, and finding the fun in things. These values are what drive my sessions and how I interact with work, challenges and people. I would love to share my experience and knowledge with you, guiding and supporting you along your journey to a deeper understanding or renewed approach to your studies.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching and mentoring can be summarized with 3 keywords; creative, compassionate, and conscientious. I provide a supportive safe space for you to develop and grow, with a balance between teaching and guiding content and interaction with active participation and building self-confidence for you to teach back to me what you learn. I embrace flexibility in the length of lessons and times, to help you get the most out of our interactions. I have worked in both mentorship and leadership roles for the university, running study sessions and mentoring teams for business projects. I also work in an educative role within an Art Gallery. I offer lessons and support to any university student in communication and media or visual art and graphic design, I have excelled in both those degrees and have a vast amount of personal experience to share and tricks to help you excel yourself. I can also support high school students studying their HSC in design and technology or anything communication-related.

Perfect! Ana is amazing, she is so friendly and easy to talk to :) I love how flexible she was too, offering to help however I needed it most. I got a HD after seeking her support, would highly recommend her as a tutor.

Ana helped me heaps when I was studying my Communications and Media degree. When a daunting assignment came through, she broke down the rubric for me on how we can achieve it. I never felt dumb (even though I asked some dumb questions,) when studying/researching together and put me on the right path to getting great marks on both my exams and assignments. Also she’s the best at referencing, so if that doesn’t convince you, I don’t know what will. (Since that affects your grading!) I could not recommend Ana more as a tutor.
