About Sehar

Hi there! I'm not just a teacher - I'm like an elder sibling here to help you with math. I'm a graduate in psychology who discovered a true passion for teaching. What started as a hobby turned into something I love - helping students feel confident and capable and sharing knowledge. For me, teaching isn't a one-way street. I believe in two-way communication - while you learn from me, I learn from you too. Every class is a chance to grow together. I don't believe in perfection or pressure, just in understanding, progress and making math feel less scary and more fun. Let's solve, explore and learn side by side - one concept at a time!

About the lesson

As a passionate and dedicated math teacher, my approach is centered around concept clarity, continuous reinforcement and confidence building. My classes are designed for students from 1st to 8th standard, across all education boards- SSC, ICSE, CBSE, and IGCSE. My sessions are built on carefully curated worksheets that I personally create after researching content from over 10 reputable websites. These worksheets include a variety of problems to strengthen application skills and conceptual understanding and are tailored to the learning level of each student. Real-life connections, interactive examples and visual aids are often used to make abstract ideas more engaging and relatable. Each session follows a structured format to maximize learning. Doubt clearing from previous sessions, quick revision of previously learned concepts, introduction of new concepts, step by step solved examples, guided in class practice, doubt clearing and brushing up, and homework. My intention is to create a stress-free and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My personalized ability and attention to simplify difficult concepts make learning enjoyable. Students often describe my teaching style as motivating, patient and thorough.
