About Robera Daniel

Hi, I’m Robera Daniel! I recently graduated from Saint Michael Catholic High School in Niagara Falls with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and an 89.8% average. I earned a scholarship for outstanding grades and extracurricular involvement, and I finished Grade 12 Physics with 98%, Advanced Functions with 94%, and Calculus and Vectors with 91%.

I’m now working toward a degree in Electrical Engineering, and I love sharing what I’ve learned. Physics and math can feel overwhelming at first, but I believe anyone can understand them when they’re explained clearly and patiently. I remember what it was like to be in your seat, so I know which topics trip students up and how to make them click.

Outside of school, I’ve worked in demanding, safety-focused jobs where accuracy and reliability mattered every day, and I bring the same punctuality, preparation, and care to every lesson. I’m also a writer and web designer, so I’m comfortable explaining ideas clearly, in writing or out loud. I speak English and Amharic.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Robera Daniel, a recent Ontario Secondary School Diploma graduate who finished Grade 12 Physics (SPH4U) with 98%, Advanced Functions with 94%, and Calculus and Vectors with 91%. I’m heading into Electrical Engineering, and I know what it takes to do well in these courses because I just did it.

My approach
I teach by building understanding first, then speed. Instead of memorizing formulas, we work out where they come from and when to use them. I explain each idea in plain language, solve a worked example together, and then you try a similar problem while I guide you. Mistakes are useful, so we look at why an answer went wrong and how to catch it next time.

A typical lesson

- Quick check-in: what’s due, what’s confusing, and any upcoming tests.
- Review of the previous lesson’s key idea.
- New concept or problem area, taught step by step with examples.
- Practice questions at test level, with me coaching your method.
- A short recap and a few practice questions for the week.

What sets me apart
I was a student in the Ontario system very recently, so I know how tests and exams are really written, which question types come up, and where marks are easily lost. I’m patient, organized, and focused on your goals, whether that’s passing, raising your mark, or earning a strong university admission average. I also come from a hands-on, technical background, so I like connecting physics and math to real-world examples.
