About Katherine

I have been a TA across secondary, primary and SEND for three years. I have recently graduated Bristol university with a first class degree in social policy. I now work full
Time teaching as a cover supervisor at a primary school. I have a passion for education and teaching and find the process of tutoring very rewarding. In the future I want to be able to inspire students and make the process of learning about English fun and engaging. In the future I hope to be able to travel the world and teach in disadvantaged areas.

About the lesson

As an experienced educator I have a calm measured approach to my lessons.l and a specialism for SEND. I believe it is healthy to encourage questions as a way to broaden the learning experience. I also want students to make mistakes that will help them learn in the future. English is a vital academic subject and learning to confidentiality assess texts and write essays is a helpful life skill. My lessons overall focus on creating a safe calm space for learning.
