About Varda
I am currently 18 years old and have been speaking French since I was 2 years old and have always been surrounded by French speakers. I studied in a French boarding school till grade 8 and got a Grade 9 in IGCSE French at 14. I also have experience tutoring younger students and enjoy helping them improve while keeping lessons fun and comfortable.

At the beginning of each lesson, we start with simple greetings and a short conversation in French. This gives the student regular speaking practice and helps them become more confident and comfortable using French naturally.
We then move on to reading exercises, depending on the student's level and current topic. During these exercises, we identify new vocabulary and important expressions.
We will also work on grammar, pronunciation, speaking, listening, and writing skills. I adapt each lesson depending on the student's strengths and the areas they need to improve.
I create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students can build their confidence step by step. I also focus on active learning rather than simply explaining information, so students have plenty of opportunities to use French themselves.
My aim is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them become more confident and independent French speakers.
