About Ayesha

Hi, my name is Ayesha and I am a student at a grammar school sixth form currently studying Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology at A-Level, with predicted grades of A*, A*, and A.

Biology has been my favourite subject since Year 7. I have always been fascinated by how living organisms work and how biology helps us understand everything from cells and genetics to the human body. My passion for the subject is one of the reasons I hope to pursue a career in healthcare in the future.

I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Biology and currently run my school's Biology Society, where I share my enthusiasm for the subject with other students. Alongside this, I achieved six Grade 9s, three Grade 8s, and a Distinction* at GCSE, demonstrating my strong academic commitment and work ethic.

Having completed GCSEs recently, I understand the challenges students face and the revision techniques that genuinely make a difference. My aim is to make Biology enjoyable, understandable, and less overwhelming through clear explanations and personalised support. Whether you are aiming to boost your confidence, improve your understanding of difficult topics, or achieve top grades, I will tailor lessons to help you reach your goals.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm a grammar school student who achieved a Grade 9 in Edexcel GCSE Biology and am currently studying A-Level Biology with a predicted A*.

I understand that Biology can be challenging, with a large amount of content to learn and apply in exams. Having recently completed GCSE Biology myself, I know which revision methods work well and the areas that students often find most difficult.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. Whether you need help understanding complex topics, improving exam technique, or boosting your confidence, I will provide clear explanations and patient support. I can also help with revision planning, flashcards, active recall techniques, past-paper questions, and exam practice to help you achieve the best possible grade.

As someone who has recently been through the GCSE process, I can explain topics in a relatable and easy-to-understand way while sharing the study strategies that helped me achieve a Grade 9. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
