Having worked with Phakamile, I would say he is a teacher who thinks outside of the proverbial box. He is very innovative in his teaching approach setting high standards for his students and motivating them to, not only meet but to surpass those standards.
Phakamile has an uncanny ability for engaging the students and making even the most disinterested look forward to his class. Those who already love math thrive in his classes. Furthermore, he has the ability to quickly identify how each student learns best and works with those who are struggling in the manner that best suits their learning style. Additionally, he makes himself available to students before and after school for extra help, and I know that any student would greatly benefit from his energy and expertise.
