My methodology is always basics... Before anything difficult or easy you must perfect those basics... Even when someone wake u up at 2am and ask u a basic question then also ur able to answer him then we can say you can mail that topic.
So I work on Focus, then right methodology to approach questions, and one imp step which answer is very favorable to ur examiner...
