About Emma
I am a passionate English and Literature tutor based in Lagos, with a strong love for reading, writing, and teaching. I enjoy helping students understand English Language and Literature-in-English without fear, especially essay writing, comprehension, and analysis of prose, drama, and poetry.
I decided to teach because I believe good English opens every door - for exams, for communication, and for confidence. Seeing a student move from struggling to excellent is what motivates me. I am patient, friendly, and committed to every learner's success.

My approach to teaching English and Literature is patient and practical. I help students understand grammar, summary, comprehension, essay writing and analyse literary works without fear. I make literature interesting by relating it to real life. I focus on building confidence in spoken and written English and helping students excel in exams.
