About Roderick
I have 14 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language and English as a Foreign Language, both here in Australia and in Japan.
My qualifications also cover Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering and Linguistics and I am developing an AI platform to help identify and reinforce areas where language learners are struggling.

My teaching method is based around heavy immersion and continuous practice. Book work is not the most effective way to learn, so my class focus on introducing concepts and then having you as the student explore apply those ideas as practically as possible.
