The keys to becoming an expert at solving math problems are two things: (1) You must learn and understand the laws and comcepts that govern the math problems you are doing and (2) you must do a variety of math problems to be able to recognize when to use particular laws and concepts in solvng math problems.

When teaching a new student how to solve math problems it is not wise to skip steps because a new student needs to see all the steps reqiuired to get a complete picture of the steps that are required to get to the correct answer. Because leaving steps out can lead to confusion for a new student just beginming to learn the proper steps they need to take to get to the correct answers of math problems.
