My teaching approach is student-focused, interactive, and aimed at building a solid understanding of the subject. I’ve worked with students from school level through home tuition, and I always adapt my style based on each student’s pace and learning preference. I start by clearly explaining the topic, then go through solved examples to show how the concepts are applied. I also make a quick list of important formulas or key points for each session to help with revision and clarity.
I like making lessons as engaging and practical as possible. For example, while teaching probability, I used real playing cards and dice to make the problems come to life. In physics, especially in topics like magnetism, I’ve used hands-on demonstrations and simple tools to help students visualize abstract ideas. When teaching mensuration, I created a 3D paper pyramid to help students understand the concept of total surface area more clearly. These types of demonstrations really help students connect theory to real-world shapes and ideas. I also include relevant YouTube videos to make the lessons more dynamic and give students multiple ways to grasp difficult topics.
To keep track of progress, I take a weekly test and also give surprise quizzes from time to time. These help me see how much the student has understood and where they might need more help. It also keeps the students alert and engaged in their learning.
When it comes to college and engineering-level subjects, my focus is on developing deep conceptual understanding and strong problem-solving skills. I emphasize the logic behind each formula and process so students don’t just memorize solutions—they truly understand them. We work through tutorials, practice problems, and in-depth doubt-clearing sessions that help build their confidence.
My students have consistently shown noticeable improvement, with many achieving top grades. Based on their performance and feedback, I’ve even been invited to teach as a part-time instructor in schools and colleges.
What sets me apart as a tutor is the way I connect with students, provide personalized support, and check in regularly to track their understanding. I don’t just teach subjects—I help students develop better study habits, stay motivated, and approach learning with confidence. My biggest strengths are my communication skills, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
