About Nathalie

Hi! I'm a German native living in Canada for more than 6 years. I studied linguistics with a focus on Phonetics and German linguistics. I have working experience in the linguistics industry (Natural Language Processing) as well as private tutoring, translation and localization.

About the lesson

With my very diverse experiences working in the linguistic field, such as translation, tutoring or natural language processing,
I am happy to teach all levels of German and whichever focus you prefer, whether it is conversation, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, idioms, or discussing your favourite German song, TV show or movie.

Perfect! Nathalie was a great German teacher for me. I wanted a refresher after decades not speaking so I could converse with people in Germany. She and I met at a local café in Montreal and we talked. She was very patient and helped me when I struggled to express myself. She even suggested grammar exercises. We talked about a wide range of topics, from politics to comedy and she adapted well as my needs changed. Each time I left our conversation with renewed energy and motivation. Highly recommended!

Nathalie is a wonderful teacher. She is calm and patient, so even if German can sometimes have a special structure and a complex grammar, she will take the time to find a way for you to understand and remember it.
